      The Marriage was soleminized on Friday evening, June 10, at the United Church parsonage of Gwendoline Mary Lindop daughter of Mrs. Edith Lindop of Gananoque to Henry Ford Kyes, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Kyes of Wilstead. Rev. H. D. McCuaig performed the ceremony. The lovely bride wore a pretty gown of King's blue crepe with waistline cape to match with touches of white. She wore a white halo hat. The groom's gift to the bride was a gold bracelet also a gold copmpact which she carried. Miss Doris Kenny of Seeley's Bay attended the bride and Mr. Theodore Chisamore was groomsman. The groom's gift to the bridesmaid was a gold necklace and bracelet and to the groomsman an initialed tie clip and buckle.

      Following the ceremony the wedding party had lunch at the Golden Apple. Mr. and Mrs. Kyes left amid showers of confetti for a motor trip to Montreal returning by way of New York. Mr. Kyes has been a most sucessful teacher for a numaber of years, and for the past two years has been teaching at Ivy Lea. Their many friends at Wilstead offer the young couple their hearties congratulations.
