Feature Articles

feature 1 BATZLOFF Family I have been able to research back to my gg-grandfather's family. Frederic Batzlaff was born in Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1870. I looked on an old Germany map and there is a place or town called Batzlaff. I hit a brick wall on researching Frederic's parents.

feature 2 KYES Family My research of the the Kyes family took me back to Asahel Kyes of Lansdowne, Leeds County, Ontario, Canada. Asahel was a soldier in the British army in the War of 1812. Lots of research been done by numerous cousins. Over the years I have written and shared information in the hope of finding more descendants.

feature 3 LILENGREN Family The Liljengren family came from Sweden. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet my cousin, Gloria who had a wealth of information on the Liljengren family history, visited their homeland and met several of our Swedish cousins. Found as of late, in Washington and western Canada.

feature 4 VANNEST Family The Vannest family married some of my Cronk ancestors and came to Michigan. I written to cousin, Maurice Vannest and gotten lots of the Vannest family history from him and other cousins. My Research of the Vannest family found cousins in Watertown, NY; Mountain Grove, Ontario; Enterprise, Ontario.
